First Ring Systems (“we,” “us,” “our”), operated by Spencer Blackman and based in the Rochester, New York area, provides lead-response and customer follow-up systems for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices — including how our text-messaging program works.

- Information you give us — such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number when you contact us or sign up for our service.
- Customer contact information — on behalf of the businesses we serve, we process the phone numbers and names of people who contact those businesses, in order to send and receive follow-up messages.
- Message records — the text messages sent and received through the service, kept for delivery, support, and legal recordkeeping.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and support the service.
- To send and receive text messages on behalf of the businesses we serve — for example, replying to someone who called or messaged a business.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
- Consent through customer-initiated contact. We send text messages only to people who have initiated contact first — for example, by calling, texting, or submitting a request to a business we work with. We do not send unsolicited marketing texts.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. Message and data rates may apply.
- Quiet hours are respected. We do not send messages late at night or early in the morning.
- Opt out any time: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
- Your opt-in and consent information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share SMS opt-in or consent data with third parties for their marketing. We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Service providers — such as our messaging carrier — strictly to deliver messages on our behalf, under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing the service.
- The business you contacted — the messages and lead details are shared with the specific local business you reached out to, so they can serve you.
- Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
Data retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations (including message records required for messaging compliance), then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold.
Your choices
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages; reply HELP for assistance.
- Contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, subject to applicable law.
